HOME STUDY COURSES
ABQAURP continuously strives to offer today's health care professionals convenient ways to increase and maintain their continuing education. Offering home study versions of our conferences provides access to our content with flexibility, allowing them to customize their education style and timeline. Additionally, Diplomates may utilize these courses to maintain their active status with the Board. We currently offer two types of home study experiences, audio CDs and/or multimedia CD-ROMs/DVDs. Availability of media varies from course to course. All courses include a course syllabus and a post test. To meet the requirement for recertification, the post test must be returned six (6) weeks prior to the recertification deadline. Scoring results must be 70% or above to maintain your board certification.
Multimedia CD-ROMs/DVDs combine audio, video and presentation slides to reinforce the content being discussed. In addition to being a richer experience than standard audio CDs, the self-contained nature of CD-ROMs/DVDs means no downloading or waiting on your Internet connection like traditional online courses.
