HOME STUDY COURSES
ABQAURP’s Home StudyCE Courses
are an alternate pathway for Diplomates to maintain their active status with the Board. These
courses
contain the audio version of ABQAURP’s most recent and well received on-site seminars. It includes CD's or CD-ROMs, a course syllabus, and a post test. To meet the requirement for recertification, the post test must be returned six (6) weeks prior to the recertification deadline date. Scoring results must be 70% or above to maintain your board certification. This interactive learning tool combines audio, video and presentation slides to reinforce the content being discussed. The content is self-contained on the CD-Rom which means no downloading and waiting on your Internet connection like traditional "online" courses.
Each section of each presentation may be chosen from a main menu, which makes finding a specific topic or returning to a point where you left off easy and convenient. This function allows you to complete the course's study on your time. You can choose to leave and, then later, pick up your experience from where you left off by choosing one of the many outlined sections. Future reference of any of these sections is equally convenient.
As the proliferation of computer use continues, we plan to offer more of these courses in this format to allow maximum flexibility. We are confident that you will find this an invaluable and convenient tool for your certification needs.
