JOINT SPONSORSHIPS

The American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians, Inc. (ABQAURP) welcomes applications for joint sponsorship of educational activities which provide continuing medical education (CME) credit and nursing contact hours (CEU). ABQAURP is committed to providing continuing medical education to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and quality of health care delivered to patients to improve the overall clinical outcome.

ABQAURP believes that ongoing continuing medical education in new research, identified problem areas in clinical practice and areas of interest in the quality assurance, utilization review, risk management and managed care fields is a worthy endeavor to pursue.

ABQAURP is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) as a sponsor of continuing medical education programs; ACCME is the official accrediting organization for Continuing Medical Education. It is required that each jointly sponsored Continuing Medical Education activity be planned and implemented in compliance with the ACCME's Essentials, Guidelines and Standards.

In addition to being an ACCME accredited provider for CME, ABQAURP is also an approved provider with the Florida Board of Nursing to provide continuing education for nurses.
