The ABQAURP Difference
For over 30 years, ABQAURP has been spearheading the health care quality movement. Since it's inception, they have been constantly upholding their mission to improve the overall quality of health care that is provided to the consuming public through education. ABQAURP strives to continually offer the best continuing education possible through live conferences, online courses, and home studies. Despite not being a nationally mandated membership for certification in the health care field, they have grown to become the country’s largest interdisciplinary organization of Health Care Professionals. This fact is a testament to the dedication and drive of ABQAURP's members to the advancement of health care quality and safety.

Who are ABQAURP's Members?
Diplomates and Members are dedicated to the ABQAURP Mission. ABQAURP's membership is comprised of virtually every type of health care professional, encompassing not only the clinical arena but the managerial backbone as well. Diplomates who have voluntarily achieved certification in Health Care Quality and Management demonstrate a deep commitment to patient safety, health care quality and effective care. Providers certified in HCQM exude superior ability to critically evaluate the literature, identify evidence-based best practices, and make recommendations that balance appropriateness of services with cost and quality. HCQM Board Certification addresses effectiveness, efficiency, equity, safety, and timeliness in today's health
care environment.

Affiliate Membership - "The first step"
ABQAURP’s Affiliate Membership was established for those individuals who are devoted to the concepts and objectives outlined in ABQAURP’s Mission Statement, but are not currently eligible to take the certification examination to achieve Diplomate status.

Benefits include discounted tuition for ABQAURP sponsored continuing education seminars and courses. Affiliate Members are listed in ABQAURP’s online Membership Directory and receive a certificate to proudly display. All members can also take advantage of networking at continuing education seminars and can participate in employment opportunities through ABQAURP’s Career Center.
