*THIS CERTIFICATE COURSE IS COMPRISED OF ABQAURP'S TWO INDEPENDENT MEDICAL ERROR COURSES: Medical Error Prevention and Patient Safety - 8 credit course and Medical Error Prevention and Patient Safety - 3 credit course.*

Please note: As this module is an element of the Medical Error Prevention & Patient Safety 3 and 8 hour courses, you cannot take this course in conjunction with the others for CME credit or Recertification credits.

The American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians, Inc. (ABQAURP), is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

ABQAURP designates this educational activity for a maximum of 11 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits . Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

ABQAURP is an approved provider with the Florida Board of Nursing to provide continuing education for nurses. ABQAURP designates this activity for 13.2 contact hours through the Florida Board of Nursing, Provider # 50-94.

This course meets the requirement for the Prevention of Medical Errors education for nurses applying for, or renewing, their Florida Nursing license.

All participants must achieve a post-test score of at least seventy percent (70%) for recertification and continuing education credits.
