Building Personal and Organizational Resiliency with Quality


Quality Improvement initiatives work to provide safer care, strengthen patient & family engagement, promote effective communication, and prevent & treat illness while working together with our local communities and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) strategic goals to make patient care more affordable & efficient. This online course will provide insight into the importance of growing a culture of learning, broad and deep communication with everyone, and developing persistence to systematically move toward your intended goal of improving patient care.

This session was recorded live at our 2019 Annual Health Care Quality & Patient Safety Conference and is a portion of the online course entitled: Connecting People, Purpose & Passion. They may be taken individually to earn incremental CME/CE credits. However, if you plan on taking the full 8-hour course, you will not be able to claim credit for these individual sessions.

At the conclusion of this activity, attendees will be able to:
  • Describe the evolving landscape of quality improvement
  • Define the major drivers of change
  • Create action steps to position the participant's organization for future change
